Sascia and Kevin worked for the same firm in Battery Park City couple of years ago. This is where it all began and since then they have moved up in their career to different places, but their relationship has grown to be stronger and beautiful. They got engaged over the summer in the beautiful Napa Valley and Kevin's sister who was their driver that day has the entire secret proposal captured for them in the camera.
I was so excited when Sascia told me she wanted to do her couple's session around Battery Park City. It is one of the locations in the city that I haven't had the opportunity to photograph. From the iconic Irish memorial and the peaceful waterfront park to newly renovated World Financial Center with the underpass to the path station, everything is so fresh and beautiful.
It was a pleasure exploring the new downtown with these two gorgeous souls!

My friend Lucy has the sweetest two year old boy! Before their family session we stopped by a French Bakery in LIC for a quick hot cocoa and this little munchkin was so friendly and charming, he kept everyone's spirit high. :)
The weather wasn't as friendly as we wanted it to be, yet we worked around it and made sure to have the greatest time together in the beautiful Gantry Park.

TATIANA + DAVID | CENTRAL PARK WEDDING PROPOSAL | NEW YORK CITY ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
These two incredible souls met a year ago at a company event in Houston, Texas where David was completely blown away by Tatiana. They spent that entire day talking to each other rather than concentrating on the actual event.
After that day, David was in a mission to convince Tatiana to go out on a date with him; he finally succeeded a week after. Their first date was at an Italian pizzeria, it was a very casual one filled with Q&As. But, It took only one date for Tatiana to realize how charming, gentle and romantic David was. They have been together ever since.
David reached out to me last month to help document his long-planned wedding proposal to Tatiana in Central Park, New York City.
I wish we had some sun and I wish Central Park wasn’t as crowded, but all in all it was a wonderful day and a very special moment when David got down on his knees and Tatiana immediately said "YES". It's people like them and their genuine love for each other that makes my heart melt.
I wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Alok and Vani have the most adorable family. Their precious little girls are not only gorgeous but also a joy to be around. The 7 month old Kavitha kept us in high spirit with her killer smiles, while the big sister Anjali introduced me to every toy of hers in the playroom while I photographed her.
I am so thankful that I got to meet this wonderful family and document their beautiful love story!
