HISTORIC STRAWBERRY MANSION WEDDING | PHILADELPHIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I love a Historic Venue with a lot of character, charm and story to tell. Historic Strawberry Mansion in Philadelphia was just that and more. This wedding was a coming together of some amazing vendors in the industry who brought the vision and creativity of Heather Benge Events into life. For as much as I am used to shooting pastel toned weddings, the explosion of colors via the gorgeous florals on this particular event made me fall in love with colors all over again.

GREATE BAY COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING | CAPE MAY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Andrew and Lydia first met at a church event; even though Andrew didn’t catch Lydia’s attention, she definitely caught his. A few months later they both attended a winter youth retreat in PA. On the last night, Andrew was sitting with a few friends when Lydia came over. They talked for over three hours about school, travel, and the Bible. After the retreat, Andrew got in touch with Lydia and soon texting turned into nightly phone calls. One day, Lydia mentioned how much she wanted to attend a Bible conference in Toronto but didn’t have a ride. Andrew was planning on driving, so he offered to give her a ride. Suddenly, he realized he had committed to spending 16 hours in the car with Lydia. Those 16 hours turned into a year and half of dating and finally Andrew was ready to propose. He bought a ring and came up with a brilliant plan; he convinced Lydia to go to Natalie’s Vineyard to “meet his boss” where he completely surprised her and proposed.

Two years and nine months later, Andrew and Lydia got married at Greate Bay Country Club in Somer’s Point NJ. Their wedding day was a fairly tale affair filled with pure joy and tears of happiness. The weather was perfect, the couple were smitten and the parents, family and friends were beyond happy for the young loves.

LIGHTHOUSE BY CHELSEA PIER WEDDING | MANHATTAN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHE

Tiana and Kirk had a fall wedding in Manhattan. We started the day in Midtown East at Intercontinental Barclay where the couple got married. We used the beautiful lobby of the hotel for their first look, family and bridal party portraits. The ceremony took place in Soho at The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral. This 200 year old stunning cathedral which also happens to be the Couple’s church is the original Cathedral of the Archdiocese of New York. For reception we drove west in a vintage checker NY taxi cab to Lighthouse by Chelsea Pier. The venue greeted us with beautiful sunset for portraits during cocktail hour. The couple, family and friends danced the night away with an incredible performance by the Hank Lane band. It was an incredible day and I was so honored to document it all for my sweet bride and groom.

AQUA AZUL WEDDING | MANHATTAN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Nicole and Philip got married on Aqua Azul Yacht in Manhattan last month. For getting ready, Nicole chose the charming Highline Hotel in Chelsea. Thats where the couple had their first look also. We explored the couple's favorite neighborhood of Chelsea for some Bride and Groom and Bridal Party Portraits before getting on the boat for their stunning ceremony on the top deck. For next 4 hours, we sailed on Hudson through the beautiful Manhattan Skyline, Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty as the rest of the wedding festivities continued. A perfect wedding day for the most kind hearted and beautiful souls I know. It was an honor to be a part of it.
